7 BIPOC Designers Who Are Setting the Bar High

With February being Black History Month, we thought it was an appropriate time to highlight some of our favorite BIPOC designers and patterns. We love these designers all year round and wanted to share the love with you! I already have some of these projects in my closet and I can't wait to make the rest!

Tif Neilan's Sun and Soul Wrap caught my eye the moment I saw it! We love her marled beauties and use of bright colors.

Brandi Harper's Gentle Cardigan is gorgeous along with everything in her new book Knitting for Radical Self Care: a Modern guide.

Jessie Maed's Cozy Classic Raglan is one of the designs already in my closet, along with several of her loungewear pieces.

The Queen of Crochet herself, Toni Lipsey and her Tunisian crochet Loveland Shawl, which comes in both fingering weight and DK weight. This is one of very few patterns I've loved enough to make twice!

Nydia by Vanessa Smith is another fun one! Vanessa is an awesome designer to work with and here at QCY we love all of her patterns.

The Amari shawl, by Tamy Gore, was designed with QCY Biddleville DK and we couldn't love it more! We bring our sample shawl to lots of shows and everyone else loves it too!

And last but not least the Whakairo Top by Francoise Danoy. Janis and Christen both have made this top and the lacework is a dream, just like in several of her patterns!

I hope we've introduced you to some new to you designers and we can't wait to see your WIPS!!
