This month’s colorway, Deep Sea, was inspired by the idea of layers. The color starts with the grey brown undyed state of this yarn. We then added a layer of dark teal-blue, one of the mixed dye layers we use in our popular handpainted colorway, Prissy Pants, and set the dye. A final layer of brighter blue was the finishing touch and the resulting skeins are beautifully saturated and seem to glow with the layers of color.
This month’s colorway was dyed on a gorgeous fingering weight Merino, Yak, Nylon blend. This yarn starts out greyish brown in color and took the layers of dye like a dream. This is the first tonal colorway of the club and we think it really shines!
