We are deeply in the throes of summer now, and I’ve recently returned from a few days at the Carolina coast so I’m bringing you some sunrise inspiration with this month’s colorway. When summer is in full swing here in the south, it’s best to get up early and do all the things before sun is on full blast. For that reason, June’s club color is a sunrise on yarn, that I’m calling Dawn Court. (If you’re an ACOTAR reader like me, then you’ll get the reference.) Dawn Court starts with a soft clay color, that moves into gold, then aqua and finally a deeper cerulean. I hope you love it as much as I do!
The dye style used in this colorway lends itself to microstriping so it would make a gorgeous pair of socks like the DRK Everyday Socks by Andrea Mowry, or the Simple DK Shortie Socks by Woolfield. If socks aren’t your thing we suggest adding a second color, either Misty Mermiad or Rose Gold to break up the microstripes. The Garter Snake Cowl by Lavanya Patricella or the Copenhagen Calling by Isabell Kramer are both fun options if you're ready to start thinking about fall gift making.
