Wholesale Year-Long Make-A-Long

Our focus for 2024 is community and connection. It has always been a goal of Queen City Yarn to foster a collaboration of meaningful, fun and socially conscious makers. We’ve been dreaming of what it could look like and we’re excited to launch a year-long make-a-long for the new year.

SEPTEMBER

This month we’ve got some new fluffy yarn, Bernice, to make some gorgeous textured projects! Named for an alpaca close to our hearts, Bernice is an ultra soft Suri Alpaca/Silk blend. It works great as the main yarn for those ultra squishy projects, and is also great held together with other yarns to give projects that lovely halo effect. It’s going to be a soft September with this new yarn. Our theme this month is cozy textured projects, and we’ve got great patterns for you this month (including 2 new ones) that are full of texture and make for great layering pieces to cozy up for fall nights.

CAST-ON PARTY!

We'll start the month with a cast-on party on September 10 at 7PM ET. Pour your favorite beverage, grab your yarn and join us for a fun evening with a fun group of like-minded makers.

As always, we want customers to choose a pattern they're excited about casting on. So rather than having a set design for this make-a-long, we're giving project prompts and an abundance of project ideas to get started.
