Wholesale Year-Long Make-A-Long
Our focus for 2024 is community and connection. It has always been a goal of Queen City Yarn to foster a collaboration of meaningful, fun and socially conscious makers. We’ve been dreaming of what it could look like and we’re excited to launch a year-long make-a-long for the new year.OCTOBER
We’re calling this month, “Out of your comfort zone October”! This month, we will be suggesting a few different techniques for makers to exercise and expand their craft. To kick it off, we have a new design releasing October 1st by Jovi Geraci, called Arachne Mitts, that only use 1 skein. She used our new color way, Rusty Red Pickup.
We will end the month celebrating the release of Tanis Gray’s new book, ‘Gilmore Girls: The Official Knitting Book’, by showcasing our version of her “You Jump, I Jump” Scarf, that’s both lace and beaded. We’ll have a handful of single skein projects to suggest, so be sure you’re stocked up on Latta (especially those new colors).
PATTERN IDEAS FOR CUSTOMERS
As always, we want customers to choose a pattern they're excited about casting on. So rather than having a set design for this make-a-long, we're giving project prompts and an abundance of project ideas to get started. Check below for some of our current favorite textured patterns to get started.
