I designed this reversible cowl to showcase a special souvenir skein of DK yarn. This project started as a release for the Zombie Knitpocalypse 2020 retreat, an event I cherish every year, filled with friends, laughter, food, knitting, and fun. In these times of physical distancing, you and a friend can make matching cowls with the same or different colorways, and give each other a virtual hug on your next video chat! It is worn close to the neck, as though the piece is giving you a virtual hug. Flip to the reverse or style it upside down for a modified look.

GAUGE:
20.5 stitches & 31 rows = 4” (10 cm) in reverse stockinette stitch and stockinette stitch after blocking

DIMENSIONS:
7” height at start x 31” around (18 cm x 79 cm)
9” height at midpoint (23 cm)
note: many testers were able to add an extra repeat for an overall dimension of 34” (86 cm) around
