Picking Wildflowers

Fall is finally here, and I’m sure you’re just as excited about it as we are! This one was a little tricky since my inspiration photo was primarily, you guessed it ORANGE. I ended up taking all the subtle background colors and making it into this soft, watercolor-like colorway. I’d like to formally introduce you to, Picking Wildflowers.
Picking Wildflowers, is a little dreamy and a little boho with soft earth tones in honeyed yellow, barely there pink, soft sky blue, topped with ribbons of a deeper twlight navy. The soft colors allow the natural ecru color of the wool to peek through, and makes for a warm yet subtle colorway. I like to think of it as a dappled ray of sunshine, which made me think about fading fall wildflowers, hence the name!
